What Kelvin (K) means
Colour temperature (Kelvin) describes how warm or cool the light appears—not how bright it is.
Common choices
- 3000K: warm and cosy for living areas and hospitality
- 4000K: neutral white for kitchens, offices, and general use
- 6000K: cool white for high-visibility, task-focused areas
